The next Caffeine & Octane Jacksonville, set for 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13, at The Avenues mall at 10300 Southside Blvd. They will be collecting new, unwrapped toys to benefit Wolfson Children’s Hospital’s Child Life Programs! Bring your toy and drop it off at the checkered tent.

Registration is open for the annual Classic Motorsports Amelia Island Kickoff presented by Sunoco: Set for Friday March 6, the day before The Amelia concours on Saturday. About 150 must-see cars, from legendary collector cars to iconic race machines, are expected starting at 1 p.m. that Friday on Fernandina Beach’s Main Beach Park, just a few miles north of the Ritz-Carlton. Spectator entry is free, while vehicle entry, limited to 150 pre-registered cars, is $45 per. All cars must preregister.—

Cruise Fruit Cove: The Sunshine State Chevelles’ cruise-in hours are 12 to 4 p.m. every third Saturday at the PDQ at 194 Florida 13 in Saint Johns, just south of Julington Creek. BUT FYI – December’s Fruit Cove cruise-in will be the last until a new contract is signed between the Sunshine State Chevelles and Gate Petroleum. We showed the sketch – now here’s Hyundai’s CRATER Concept adventure vehicle, presented during a press conference at AutoMobility LA 2025. Called a “compact off-road SUV vehicle that visually expresses capability and toughness,” the design exploration captures the spirit of adventure, Hyundai says. Conceived at Hyundai America Technical Center (HATCI) in Irvine, CA., the CRATER is on view now at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
“CRATER began with a question: ‘What does freedom look like?’ This vehicle stands as our answer,” said SangYup Lee, Executive Vice President and Head of Hyundai and Genesis Global Design. “It is a vision shaped by our unending drive to explore — to inspire our customers to explore deeper and embrace the impact of adventure.”
Outside, chiseled bodysides to bold skid plates, with steep approach and departure angles and hexagonal faceted 18-inch wheels inspired by envisioning a hexagonal asteroid impacting a sheer metal landscape. They are clad in 33-inch off-road tires, with a wide, functional skid plate across CRATER Concept’s underbody.
A pair of cables stretching from the front hood to the roof promise added protection from low-hanging branches on narrow and overgrown trails. FYI – one of CRATER Concept’s built-in recovery hooks performs double duty as bottle opener, and side-mirror cameras double as flashlights that can be removed.
Inside the CRATER Concept, technical shapes are wrapped in soft-yet-durable materials, resulting in a stylish, natural integration that delivers comfort, support, and practicality in any environment. Simultaneously tough yet warm, the CRATER Concept’s singular interior design starts with its high-brow crash pad, which bridges the vehicle’s exterior with its interior. unconventional dashboard’s crash pad is shaped like a bent metal sheet, wrapping around the form. Subtle perforations allow soft light to glow through, creating a refined and distinctive aura unique to the concept.
And its motivation – dual electric motors, but no production powerplant info is available.
Revology Cars, the Orlando, Fl. builder of re-engineered and restored 1960s Mustangs, has unveiled its most sophisticated Mustang yet: the 1969 Boss 429. And the new Revology Boss 429 blends the iconic design of the original with modern performance, comfort, and everyday drivability.
“The Boss 429 is one of the rarest and most desirable muscle cars ever built,” said Tom Scarpello, founder and CEO of Revology Cars. “The Revology Boss 429 is not a copy of that iconic model, but a redefinition of it, leveraging modern technology, engineering, and manufacturing processes to make it as reliable and fun to drive as it is to look at.”
The Revology Boss 429 features an all-new steel body, assembled using automated spot welding, seam welded joints, and heat-cured structural adhesive, to create an exceptionally rigid structure.
Power comes from a supercharged and intercooled 5-liter, 710-hp Ford Ti-VCT V8, paired with a six-speed manual or 10-speed automatic transmission. The chassis has a double-wishbone front suspension with aluminum subframe and a three-link rear suspension with torque arm and Panhard rod. Hydraulic power rack-and-pinion steering, power four-wheel disc brakes, tuned springs and dampers deliver precise handling and a compliant ride.
The show car is finished in Lava Orange, a vivid Porsche hue chosen by Yoshi Amano, Revology’s vice president of marketing, sales, and service.
“Its energy and spirit perfectly reflect what we do at Revology—breathing new life into classic cars,” she said.
