And there’s more:

Jaguar

Jaguar has unveiled Type 01, its most technologically advanced and powerful model in the brand’s 104-year history. And it was unveiled in New York City. And unlike the concepts unveiled in late 2024, these production versions are 4-doors, not coupes.

Jaguar

To quote the Coventry, England-bases automaker, the Type 01 is defined by “exuberant proportions, with its low roofline, long bonnet, sleek silhouette and dramatic presence.” Yet it has “a clear lineage to the great Jaguars of the past including the E‑type and XJS.”

Jaguar

And it is electric – a bespoke Jaguar Electric Architecture with more than 1,000 HP, and a range of up to 400‑miles. Jaguar says it can add up to 200 miles in as little 13 minutes using 350kW charging.

Those who were there say the car exudes strength, grace and it appears – pace with that electric drivetrain. The silhouette is almost a clean line from the rounded nose with sharp fender edges, to the sleek fastback with ribbed tail.

Jaguar

And the interior is spare and sleek as well, a digital screen for the driver, a tablet-like panel for audio and climate controls, all with a ribbed dashtop and slim center console tube that runs aft between both rows.
Jaguar says you can order one in early 2027, with first deliveries expected in the second half of the year – starting from $130,500.

Stellantis/Alfa Romeo

The 2026 Paris Motor Show hosted the worldwide debut of Alfa Romeo’s new Cuorerosso concept car, as the Italian company begins a new chapter in its design destined to inspire future models and to set out how intends to face the new era of electrification.

The name Cuorerosso encapsulates its essence, combining Heart – a universal symbol of emotions – with Red, a synonym for sportiness. Two identifying elements that beat in unison, forming a statement that goes beyond the concept to set out the brand’s future direction.

“Alfa Romeo has always created cars that are capable not only of moving people, but of arousing something within them. It is this human-machine connection, fueled by a unique culture of the Italian spirit, sportiness and passion, which makes each of our cars an Alfa Romeo,” said Santo Ficili, Alfa Romeo and Maserati CEO. “With Cuorerosso, we bring this identity into the future, one open to different energy solutions, in which technology, function and quality are always at the service of emotions and driving pleasure. This is our idea of Bellezza Necessaria: to create cars designed for those who love to drive, which can interpret their time and simultaneously become icons.”

Stellantis/Alfa Romeo

After spending only a week or two on the initial sketches, the Alfa Romeo Centro Stile moved straight on to three-dimensional modeling, tackling the Cuorerosso project as a single solid block to be sculpted, devoid to begin with of wheels, glazing, visuals and details. A deliberately radical design gesture, to enable the designers to focus on theme, proportions and volumes, progressively eliminating the superfluous until the form emerged.

The result is a 2+2 coupé, designed uninterrupted from one end to the other, which combines strongly sporty proportions with elegant lines and surfaces.

It is 185 inches long, almost 80 inches wide and just 52.4 inches tall. It carries the classic Coda Tronca (truncated tail) seen on the Giulia GTZ and Giulietta SZ , for an aerodynamic coefficient of 0.28.

From the side, it is crossed by the characteristic wedge line that runs from the front to the rear, imparting tension and power to the bodywork. Two other world-famous Alfa Romeo stylistic features also stand out on the front – Lo Scudetto as an essential part of the Trilobo – reinterpreted here with a contemporary flair.

Specifically, the Trilobo defines the ‘face’ of Cuorerosso through dialogue between the central Scudetto and the front headlights, resembling a pair of eyes with deliberately natural proportions and fixing a concentrated, self-confident gaze. The grille is characterized by a weave of small backlit triangular elements that dialogue with the historic symbols of the Cross and the Biscione, generating a light signature that beats like a heart.

Stellantis/Alfa Romeo

The dashboard draws inspiration from the architecture of the 1967 33 Stradale.

And under the bonnet is a 2.9 V-6 Full-Hybrid powertrain, paired with Q4 all-wheel drive, torque converter, and carbon fiber driveshaft.
