Jacksonville Car Culture events calendar

The next Caffeine &Octane is set for 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday at The Avenues mall at 10300 Southside Blvd.

Cars should start arriving by 7 a.m. for this second-Saturday-of-each-month C&O from the Southside Boulevard side of the shopping mall, the best way in through Malabar Boulevard.

As always, there will be a Porsche Jacksonville corner, an MBCA Southern Stars section, exotics area, Classics Rows and more at each C&O. Official Caffeine and Octane merchandise is on sale at all Caffeine and Octane Jacksonville events. Check out more at firstcoastcarculture.com.

Gentle reminders – All vehicles parked in the Central Lot must remain in place until the show concludes. If you cannot stay until then, please park in the exhibit lot. Please park in the exhibit lot if you need to leave prior to 11 a.m. Those parking in the Exotics Lot and the Porsche Corner are free to arrive and leave at any time.

Joseph Bryan Memorial Scholarship Fund Show: 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. this Saturday at Classic Car Museum of St. Augustine at 4730 U.S. 1 S./Dixie Highway South. Free for spectators and $20 per show vehicle.

Cars of Purpose Car Show: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. this Saturday at Sams Club, 300 Busch Drive. $20 per show car, or $25 for the audio competition.

Jacksonville Sports Car Museum – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at 7601 Centurion Parkway, celebrating Italian cars like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati and Alfa Romeo. The museum has a Lamborghini Diablo VT that appeared in a Car and Driver magazine road test in period, and was actually housed in the building when it was Lamborghini USA’s American headquarters. Entry fee – $15.

The event focuses on the Italian tricolore, with themed food and drinks available.

First Responders Car Truck and Bike Show: 2 to 8 p.m. on Saturday at the Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing 13700 SW 16th Ave., Ocala. Proceeds will benefit the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Program at UF Health.

New Millenium Cars, Trucks and Motorcycle Show: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at 11057 Camp Weed Place in Live Oak. Free for spectators and $20 per show vehicle, proceeds to benefit the Florida Veterans Association.

Second Annual Best of the Nest Car Show: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16, at Yulee High School, 85375 Miner Road in Yulee. $20 registration.

Cars & Cannons Vintage Car Show at Fort Clinch – 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23, at Fernandina Beach’s Fort Clinch State Park. The regular park entry fee of $6 per vehicle (2 to 8 people). North Jax Baptist Church Car Show: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23, at the church at 8531 N. Main St. And yes, the burnout contest returns.

Town of Hilliard Car Show: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30, at Hilliard Town Hall Park, 37236 West First Street. Food trucks and music, spectators free and $20 registration day of show.

First Coast Car Council Fall Crusin’ to the Creek: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7, at Trout Creek Memorial Park, 6550 Florida 13 N. in St. Augustine. Free for spectators and $25 pre-registration through our website carcouncil.org via PayPal. All proceeds benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Jacksonville.

Car and Bike Show: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sat. Oct. 21, at the Barn at Maple, 545 Cathy Tripp Lane in Jacksonville. Free for spectators and $20 per show vehicle, proceeds benefit veterans and the community.

Exchange Club of Jacksonville Car Show: 10 a.m. to 2 pm. on Saturday, Nov. 4, at St. John the Divine Greek Orthodox Church, 12760 Beach Blvd. Free for spectators, $25 for show vehicles, proceeds benefit Exchange Club programs to prevent child abuse.

21st annual Antique Car Show: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday Nov. 11 at the Cecil Pines community at the Cecil Commerce Center at 6008 Lake Cove Ave. Free for spectators and show vehicles.

Ancient City Auto Club Car Show: Saturday, Nov. 11, at The Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind, 207 San Marco Ave. in St. Augustine.

Ponte Vedra Auto Show registration open now, for a show set for: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12. Only pre-registered cars will be allowed on the Nocatee Station Event Field, 245 Nocatee Center Way in Ponte Vedra Beach, so be sure to register early! Spectator parking and admission is free. Update – Cruise Fruit Cove: Starting in August, the Sunshine State Chevelles’ cruise-in hours are 3 to 7 p.m. every third Saturday at the PDQ at 194 Florida 13 in Saint Johns, just south of Julington Creek. In the winter months, noon to 4 p.m.

New cruise-in: 1 p.m. every third Saturday at Hardee’s at 6852 Wilson Blvd.

Amelia Cruizers: 3 to 6 p.m. every third Saturday at Cold Stone Creamery, 808 Sadler Road, Fernandina Beach. The Amelia Cruizers Car Club will stage a cruise to the ice cream store, staging at 2 p.m. in the parking lot next to the closed Krystal’s (2020 Sadler Road), then make an informal parade along the ocean and on Centre Street through downtown to end at Cold Stone.
