The next Caffeine &Octane is set for 8 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, at The Avenues mall at 10300 Southside Blvd.
Gentle reminders – All vehicles parked in the Central Lot must remain in place until the show concludes. If you cannot stay until then, please park in the exhibit lot. Those parking in the Exotics Lot and the Porsche Corner are free to arrive and leave at any time.
And the 9th Annual San Jose Car & Truck Show at Dupont Station: 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday at Dupont Station, 6271 St. Augustine Road. Free for spectators and $25 to enter a car, the show raised more than $11,000 for Bishop John J. Snyder Community Center at San Jose Apartments for seniors last year.

All proceeds go to Sheriff’s Office’s Shop With Cops program – $45 registration fee.

Brumos Collection Saturday Social: 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Brumos Collection at 5159 San Pablo Road S. Admission is $19.99, $14.99 for military. Hyundai unveiled the IONIQ 5 N eN1 Cup car this week, an electric racing car based on the IONIQ 5 N high-performance electric vehicle.
“We are incredibly proud to unveil the IONIQ 5 N eN1 Cup car, demonstrating our commitment to sustainable racing,” said Till Wartenberg, Vice President and Head of N Brand & Motorsport. “This unique electric racing car demonstrates our cutting-edge technology and passion for pushing the boundaries of what EVs can achieve on the racetrack.”
The IONIQ 5 N eN1 Cup car boasts a stronger powertrain and higher battery capacity than the IONIQ 5 base model, and is the N brand’s first high-performance EV designed for professional drivers competing in the N1 class, with enhanced circuit performance using slick tires. The new eN1 class, to be introduced this year, will operate under open regulations so that teams can compete with various tire products without being restricted to a single manufacturer.
The IONIQ 5 N eN1 Cup car has 600-hp. It also features a redesigned body kit, wide-style over-fenders, wider wheel trajectories for improved handling, increased downforce from front lips and rear wings, and improved aerodynamic performance. It is also lighter, with forged wheels, FRP hood and polycarbonate windows.
